And.....as of 7:58 AM Alaska time, ADF&G website has crashed!!
Results are now up. For the 33rd year I did NOT draw a delta bison permit. No moose permit either.
Yup, straight line of 'No'...Lol
Whole lotta nada for me...again... I'm sure I'll find something to hunt though...

My backup for not drawing was signing up for a guaranteed tier 1 caribou permit so I will be hunting along the Denali highway for the caribou along with general season moose!

One Yes for me. Late season elk hunt with two other buddies that drew. Will be a fun combo hunt if the blacktails start rutting early. Primarily a meat excursion.

Nothing for me. I can't complain though, I drew a POW bear tag a while back and will be hunting there in a few months.

I drew DM788. I get to hunt archery cow moose in front yards and gardens in and around the outskirts of Fairbanks.
Wilderness adventure? No Expensive fly-in hunt? No.
Just an excellent way to collect a freezer full of moose meat!

Put your name on the road kill list, my neighbor got a 60” Bull and a friend another Bull, then for a calf. The Bull took 6 adults a week to process, why someone would want to deal with that much work I don’t know.
I drew a brown bear tag I honestly am hoping to not be able to hunt (because I would be tagged out before hand elsewhere). Fun local area I know well with several bears. Weekend and weekday hunts exist again for me finally lol.
Ike, I’m jealous as all get out on that musk ox tag.
