I wish they would put more white/gray blotches in it though. It will blob out in a tree.

I’ve used uv spray to knock out the ultra violet and in the northeast it blends perfectly. I also have pics in the woods as well that I can post.

Cabelas had a pattern similar to the pine needle one years ago.

To dark. Not enough contrast. Too shiny.

Close up looks good, but close up always does. Put it on, go sit in a tree or bush and have someone take a pic at 20, 50, 100 yards.

And if you can, post them in black and white.

Enter a photo and click on "monochromatic". It'll give you an idea of how a deer may see it.

I like the first pic with the pine needles. Would work well in Arkansas piney woods

Great looking camo for treestanding, should be effective at close ranges.
As others stated, may have a tendency to turn into a monotone "blob", in wide open country, at longer ranges. Broad, high contrast patterns are the only way to avoid that.

My designs are actually bigger than normal so at distances they do not look like a blob. That was the maine reason for starting this fun journey.

If you design camo like ASAT or Predator it would sell IMO.

I designed a few patterns, once upon a time. This one was probably my most effective, in wide open country, blended in amazingly at longer distances.

Which is more of a deer vision?

My thoughts are if you trying to sell camo worry more about fooling the buy than the deer. Same reason they make fishing lures in a million different colors.

I think the top one would work pretty well in East Texas where I hunt if it’s not too shiny.

I think you are making realistic stuff. But, on a constructive note, I know they are dark enough to blob at distances.

Great concept, I like the pine needle camo but to me its more about the shine. In my opinion the old cotton camo patterns blended in the best, but huntin in the heat you cant beat the new materials..

Critically I don’t like it. It enough major variation. Look to predator, Kuiu Vias, ASAT as far as stronger differences in colour.

I just posted this on my state forum. I wear this shirt, I see deer.
Probably helps that I bought a size too big and shrank it. It’s wool.

Also a big fan of old Predator.
And mismatched camo.
My gaiters don’t match my pants don’t match my vest don’t match my sleeves don’t match my jacket don’t match my hat, and they’re all different enough to blob out into a different shade of Blob.
