For those planning to attend the Pope and Young banquet in Reno next month, make plans to attend the Bowsite meet and greet. We will meet in a designated room (to be announced) from 3:00 to 5:00 on Friday afternoon, July 16 at the Nugget Casino/Hotel.
This has become a regular can't miss event so let's hear it. Who's going???

Not making convention this year- too many irons in the fire. Hopefully, 2023 on the normal April schedule.

I am soooooo bummed to miss this one, but can't pull it off. Have to see a pulmonologist specialist and had to make the first-available appointment for this date back in April. You fellers have a couple for me, and I'll be there in spirit.

I live in Reno, just recently retired and one of the commitments I made was that I’d get more involved in a few hunting and conservation organizations once the corporation stopped sucking my life and energy. So, I’ve joined P&Y and will see you there in a couple of weeks.
If anyone is looking for offsite restaurant or other area recommendations send me a PM with some specifics of what you’re looking for and I’ll do my best to point you in the right direction. There’s a good brewery across the street from the Nugget called Great Basin Brewery.
Also the original owner of the Nugget (formerly known as John Ascauga’s Nugget) John Ascuaga passed away this week at the age of 96 so I’d suspect the current owners will have some specials planned to honor the founder.
