Huge QAD Pop-Up. AD
When a thread topic is opened on Bowsite Big Game Forum, a very large ad for QAD pops up and covers a third of the screen. This would be simply annoying if it had a closing "X"......but it does not. So if one tries to close it, you get more QAD ads.
I like QAD products, but this method of in-your-face marketing is enough to turn me to other manufacturers. Bowsite management folks should stop this. Ads that can be closed are annoying enough, but this is ridiculous.
There is a small "x" on the upper right of the add to close it. Difficult to hit on a phone!
Easy to close on my phone. Click the X.
The minute I posted this thread, the ad disappeared. How odd!
Oops, it's back! And there is no closing "X" anywhere on the ad.
Btw, there is also no way to close the current Buck Forage Oats ad. Annoying at best.
X in upper right corner. Sometimes it's hard to see but, my adds close right away if I tap anywhere up in that corner.
If you click on the Buck Forage ad and purchase a bag of oats, the ad will disappear.
If you guys swear a blood oath against the Amish Pat will stop making you look at ads. Haven't seen one in 6 months.
What haven’t you seen an ad or an Amish guy?
You should ask for your subscription fee back. Pat gladly offers refunds to people who don't like pop-ups!
I cleared the add before I posted this. Meh
I suppose we could hire the Amish mafia to go visit Pat in Ohio. But it's easier to just hit the hidden, tiny, faded, barely visible X in the upper right corner of the banner.
The day I got vaccinated my 5G signal tripled, I suddenly decided to give China the benefit of the doubt, and the pop ups disappeared.
Maybe no relation.
It wasn’t bothering me until you mentioned it sundowner. It’s your damn fault ! ;-)
If you buy 5 QAD rests you get the special code to make the pop up goes away.
You guys get archery related adds?? Sheesh, all I get is strippers and only the last five seconds when they're already naked!!
I never see the ads anymore, after getting the proper browser add-ons.
The term “pop up” takes on a whole new meaning, eh Rod?
Troy, at sixty eight, "pop" up might be a slight exaggeration.
A small price To pay for the small price we pay. As long as that g5 ad from a decade ago that came Complete with video and audio stays in the grave all is good
Yeah but it's just temporary. ........
I hate it when free services have minor inconveniences. Like who gets off on this stuff?
