If the NYS pistol and rifle club prevails , NYC residents will still have to apply for a NYS pistol permit. Right now anyone caught with a handgun in NY without a pistol permit is subject to a mandatory 1 year prison term. So I don’t see any prisoners getting out . Ask Plasiko Burriss.
