How soon before the states that will change their electoral college votes to the winner of the popular vote change their law back to where their electoral college votes are from their state only?
The reason for the question is Nate Silver is predicting DJT will win the popular vote.

Unlikely he wins the popular vote with California,New York with such large #s of dem voters unless they give up and don't turn out and the majority of blacks vote for Trump.

If trump wins NH, penn, mi and out west Wi is meaning less. However I think by election time Wi will go to trump after Biden puts in multiple campaign stops a day he’ll be worn out , people will know he’s not upto it.
