I was inspired by Greg Kush's turkey shot video and set out to do something like it. I set up the action camera about 25 yards away where I thought the turks would walk by. I am operating the camera with wifi and my smartphone. The turkey you see on the left was not the one I shot. There were two gobblers and one hen. The arrow comes in from the upper right, the gobbler then kicks the arrow back at me when flapping his wings and then runs right by the camera and dies 20 yards past. This is so much fun to do. Operating the camera with the smartphone wifi is not hard at all. Hope you enjoy this 1 minute clip. Put it on full screen and watch the slo-mo with the arrow. C

Way cool Charlie! Curious as to where you hit him? Looks like he has blood on the back of his neck as he runs by the camera.

08-May-17
Troy: I hit him just about perfect. Mid-body, Two inches forward of right above where the legs meet the body. He was stone dead when I got out of the blind and of course the other gobbler was pecking at his fallen buddy. Tough guys for sure:)

Question. can you turn the Predator camera off and on with its own remote?

Thanks, Paul

08-May-17
Paul: No you keep the camera on at all times. Ultimate Predator Gear has a power pack they sell or you can buy any where which will keep the camera running up to 12 hours straight. You then download an app on your smartphone, hit your wifi, select that app for your wifi then when ever you want to record you turn on the app and the screen on your smartphone shows you exactly what the camera sees and you turn it on and off with the smartphone. This way you limit power use on your smartphone until you record. Once set up its very easy and you DO NOT need internet.

Great job, that's on my list for next year, got good DSD's this year and should be able to get the Toms positioned correctly for some great footage. Well done!
