How to make a happy Sunday afternoon:
and most importantly, step 6:
Nice Pictures (and antlers too)8^)
Another great set of pics rainbow!
Arigato!
Were the antlers strategically posed? Or accidentally???:) :P
Good pics. Keepin' it real! :-)
You are making me hungry. I had white perch fillets for breakfast but it took a half dozen of them.
Great!
Sockeye salmon on the grill for me tonight.
Goose breast fillet in sauerkraut (crockpot) yesterday. Tonite - geez, I hate to tell you guys this... marinated cauliflower. Flame away.
Shuteye - I used to fish for white perch (and esp. "pan rock" [that's small stripers for you DA's]) at Conowingo Dam. LOVED fishing there as a kid.
The 14 year old smart @$$ taking the photos is the one who situated the antlers (a little to the right dad, back left a little...)
If anybody's interested, I guess I score about 122 and 1/2 inches.

I have fished the exact same place but only have to go 1 mile to get the white perch. There ain't nothing wrong with cauliflower, I had that night before last and also fresh spinich.
nijimasu, you have us all thinking about good food and I am trying to stay nice and trim. Your kids are lucky to have a dad that hunts and fishes.
Very cool. Yours appears to be a household full of good, wild food and fun people. Can't beat that. BTW, if you are not in Skynyrd tribute band, well, you should be.;)
Nice pics BUT, a fishing tale to go along with it would be better.
Trout season's closed here till the first so a good story is always welcome.
Hell, I don't even mind if you lie:)
Beev - I live just a couple miles from world class steelheading (since 1993 anyway) in Lake Erie trib's, but I *still* really haven't gotten the bug. I like to eat panfish (incl. bass and walleyes) too much, I guess... plus, the Fall run conflicts with hunting. My neighbor, Ed, catches a few or several every time he goes out (he's out today if he isn't pheasant hunting)... noodle rod in the streams (Spring, Fall) or trolling in the lake (summer mostly). Beautiful and strong fish, that Steelhead!...
Beev - meant to say also: I liked that "lucky buck" anecdote. Very cool.

Wow, a Skynyrd tribute band ain't a bad idea- I haven't played that stuff since high school, but that sounds pretty fun. Anybody wanna audition?
If you're interested in what I'm currently playing, click on the link-
Dale, I can scratch out the chords to 'Freebird' but I can't hang with Allen on the solo.:) Maybe I'll audition for a roadie spot...
I enjoyed the link. Heard a little Mark Knopfler, a little Kirk Hammett and others. Very eclectic and unique.
Thanks- both names are a compliment. I'm currently working on a new record of mostly acoustic stuff- the "Moon over Cow" track will be on it, etc. Takes me forever though, to get tracks laid. Maybe I spend too much time bowhunting? Nah.
Let me recommend the McCormick Sweet Citrus and Spice Salmon Rub. Really awesome.
