I love how some comments say "roman nose..." then the next comment will say "doesn't have a roman nose yet..." lol. So what exactly is the qualification for a roman nose??
Just goes to show what a crap shoot aging on the hoof is (for the most part). The guys who get it right will pat themselves on the back and think to themselves "see I knew I knew how to age them" but the reality of it is if we all did this multiple times not matter how good we are we'd all get some wrong. Or at least that's what I'll think if I get it right ;)
I like this type of game a lot. . .I too am amazed some think 1 1/2 or even 2 1/2. Must be looking at different deer than me :)
I took the first 60 guesses and buck #1's average is 5.366 and buck #2's is 4.7.
Like with anything, you are going to have outliers that guess 1.5 years, but I am wondering how close the averages will be to the actual age for each buck.
The hardest thing to guess is a buck past his prime. #1 is not! But hard to tell for me if #2 is younger or a has-been. I went with younger.
But then again, maybe I should have looked at this first:

I think buck 2's age is going to surprise some people.

When will the results be posted? I just checked again and it said they would be posted a couple of days ago. I don't know about everyone else, but I'm sure anxious to see the ages!

No prize for doing that, though, I'd think. :^(
