Always love Trophy Room pics or unique mount pics Thanks for sharing
Safari if you don’t mind me asking what are the dimensions of your home and your trophy room/garage
The cabin I am building has a gambrel roof as well
My wife-woman dictated that all my "dead stuff", had to go in my office. The office, upstairs in the house, is 16X32. There is not room for another mount. Between mounts and awards, my "I love me space" is packed. Recently, I won four awards from the Tennessee Press Association and had no place to hang them. It is for that reason, I now only shoot does and small bucks. If I were to build a house with a trophy room, it must have a stone fireplace and it must have very high ceilings. I am no architect, but I bet I could design a dandy trophy room. If money were no object, I would add a waterfall.
Congrats on the well deserved awards John.
Zebra great looking wall. That whitetail pedestal is awesome.
Bowriter- I'm surprised your "I LOVE ME space" is only 16x32! ;-)
Hahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. That deserves an award…
Rut Nut.......That’s funny right there! I don’t care who ya are!!!!
My "trophy room" right now is a small extra bedroom in the house. Someday, when kids arrive, I will need to figure something else out. Maybe convert 1 of the garages?
Hope my wife never sees this thread and gets ideas. Currently I have 4 elk in our family room with a mule deer on the way. Sheds scattered here and there. She ducks under one to vacuum. Also have 5 whitetails in an office. So far consolidating everything into a one place has not been mandated.
The only stipulations my wife has are; nothing in the bedroom and no wild boar’s head mounts.
Ohiohunter no add its an original , thanks you!
Here is my living room. Still working on the mounts.
Upstairs is still unfinished, but one day it will be the ultimate man cave!
Moon 22 the guy on the right needs tied off with a fall restraint system (actually both do) his walk board looks like it is about to collapse.
Kelly the company that dropped the staging off forgot to bring the pins??? We used 2" steel bars. They weren't going anywhere, just not the right size causing that angle.
Got a friend, a retired criminal court judge who has gotten addicted to hunting Africa. So far, he has spent just under $100K on expanding his trophy room and it is now packed. Every time he mentions how cheap it is to hunt Africa, I just nod and say taxidermist and construction and he shuts up. Here is something, some might want to think about. I have a friend who is the head buyer of "things" for Cracker Barrel. I have instructions in my will for him to work with my wife on my mounts when I die since none of the family is interested in them. He knows exactly what paper work is required and offers a fair price. But, he does not buy just a piece or two. It must be almost a truck load. Anyway, if you don't know what to do with your trophies, Cracker Barrel is a market you might not have considered.
I’ll throw one pic of mine in here. It’s 20x28 and i backed it with 3/4” plywood all around so no studs needed to hang.
Certainly having the walls go from 9ft up to 12ft helps with all species one would mount.
My gator gets a lot of comments! haha
Good luck, Robb
some of those rooms are nothing short of amazing and some are excellent.
Always love these pics Here's another one I put a small Koi pond with waterfall in Need a full mount bear to climb it

Bulelk I tried to keep them out of direct sun Their getting a little light.
Those are my wife’s! She drew a limited entry tag. Bed,Bath & Beyond I believe. She had a coupon too ;-)
T-roy Now that's F'n funny
Kelly, sorry for the delay. My home is 24X34 the addition is a 8X16 foot breezeway and 24X24 garage with 24X18 bonus/trophy room over. The addition looks a bit taller than the house because I went with 9 foot ceilings in the bonus room. In hind site I should have gone 26 deepX28 wide. Hope that helps.
Way cool TR's fella's
How many points did she have to draw that B_B&B tag! ha
Good luck, Robb
I’m not sure on how many points it took, Robb, but we are now “Platinum Level” members ;-(
I WAS kind of hoping for some sort of importation ban, but she pulled some strings and, well, here they are. Very challenging hunt she said. She bagged em both on Black Friday. Public land too, I’m assuming;-)
My home office is my trophy room. Space is becoming an issue.
Can’t wait to put my sheep on the wall from this year. I am going have a pedestal wall shoulder mount
Beautiful Bighorn Highplains! Congratulations!
Man those trophy rooms look sweet! Maybe someday ill have one of my own, Lord willing.

There are some incredible trophy rooms shown here...mine so far is just my living room...
I never though about using a Red or brown background paint----those colors do look real good.
I am going to have a tight fit to get my 2017 Az. Bull in with my Elk Wall bulls-----
Good luck, Robb
WOW! Some REALLY nice trophy rooms! I particularly like the rustic look with the log/wood paneling.
T-roy that fireplace is stunning!
I really need to finish out my "man cave" downstairs! I have mounts all around the house and a bunch down at my parent's ranch plus a few still at the taxidermist.
Definitely some great looking trophy rooms there guys!
That's it...I need to get more stuff mounted:) Beautiful trophy rooms guys! Very impressive!
Rifle sheep before I saw the light.
A couple of years ago someone had a KILLER pedestal cape buffalo mount! It looked P-OFF, who was that? Anyone save that picture.
Just a living room for me but my wife lets me decorate the walls.
Getting the living room ready for a tree
‘‘Tis the season. That’s just some of them. 2 more on the way. Will have to get them out of family room and finally build my basement man cave soon.
I have done a 180 on taxidermy. If I do anything more than a euro for the remainder of my days, I'll be surprised.
Still a big fan but if others' collections, though. Great work is always to be admired.
Most mounts are kept in the basement for now but i keep the special ones to me in a spare bedroom and living room...waiting on my mtn goat from this year to add to the living room peak
Great pics Nesser like the different wood types
Love that old barn wood look Nesser!
Very nice TR's fella's--------->
