Well when they say they're being sent by June 22 and then it changes to June 29.. then who knows... Then if you don't get it, you have to wait 30 days to do their 'lost in the mail' form... And who knows how long it takes for a replacement after that.. if Colorado's system was the best ever I probably would feel pretty good about them getting tags out.. but since it's not even close, I'm ok with calling and asking

the preparation and anticipation are almost as good as the hunt......I don't obsess over it nearly as much as I used to though.......

Just talked to them this morning and was told that they were mailed out last Friday. Lady said that they were being mailed from Dallas, so we can estimate delivery time from there.

I didn't draw an elk tag but just got a mule deer tag in the mail Monday. Then got another one in the mail yesterday. Same tag. Absolutely identical. Weird.
