Looking for the right train camera

I am starting a subdivision next to my home and want a great trail type camera to record the process over 3 months. I can write this one off. I need something to take time photos. I have a Moultrie that works but is there a no brainer camera? Maybe I should go with a non trail camera, any thoughts?
