Hunting one of our exclusive venues. We have all the quota and conduct all hunting operations on many venues. The Lake family arrowed one Sable, two Nyala, three Blue Wildebeest, two Zebra, one Kudu, three Impala, four Warthogs, one Blesbok, and four Baboon on an eight day hunt.

We did three days of photo safari at our elephant hunting venue which is open to Kruger National Park. The highlight was seeing a pride of lion take down a young giraffe. Lots of elephant also seen.

Heading out now for more viewing. A leopard killed an Impala and put it up in a Marula tree. Going to watch the Impala and wait to see if it comes back.

Great safari all the way around. We saw the entire Dangerous 7 in two days topping it off with this leopard in a tree. Terrible photo I know but beautiful in person.

They will not. The lions attacked a young giraffe and got it down but it’s mother charged in kicking the lions away. Again and again she fought them but lion are patient. When the young one got to his feet and stumbled towards its mother the male in the pride took it down for good while the frantic mother was left helpless. The male lion then carried the giraffe (yes, literally carried a young giraffe) deeper into the bush for the pride to feast. The noises associated with the kill and the flailing and calls of the youngster to its mother brought tears to the eyes of the two ladies with us. It was a sad thing to witness but nature is cruel.

Awesome hunt and write up. Super family adventure. This certainly wasn’t “renting a condo at the beach for a week !”
Congrats on some super trophies and memories.

Coming to Africa to hunt? Think about adding a few days of Big 5 touring at a private game reserve. Much more exclusive and personal than Kruger National Park.
