Good deal Jake....yours is the only other pic. That tells you something. I love Muleys.
So i went on my first mulie hunt in Utah with a good friend who lives there. I was excited, he told me would see alot of deer, maybe some big bucks. I decided to shoot the first legal deer i was able to get within 60 yds. The evening of day 1 i did just that, 40 yds. Not a giant but for a guy like me he made the months of preparation and the trip to utah something i will never forget. And yes we saw some really nice bucks.

Tradi- Need a story to go with 1 arrow left in the quiver....I have some photos in the library that look like that....lol
Congratulations guys... Good one Forest.
Wow Forest - awesome buck!
Great buck Forest! Congrats!
Come on Ed, quit holding out on the picture!!
Congratulations, Forest! Awesome buck!
Ki-ke, story is I hunt with 3 arrows in the quiver-even though it will hold 5. First shot at the buck clean miss (was only about 50yrds from tent), miss judged distance, shot for about 35yrd, actually was about 25yrd - black timber is hard to guess in. Buck & 2-does only run about 30yrds, after a couple minutes they start feeding away, I circled around and get into position, 34yrd this time (used range finder) second shot dead deer, Later I found the first arrow stuck in pine tree about 15yrd from where he was standing, second arrow passed through the buck and I couldn't find it, that's why you only see one arrow in the quiver. The stocking started about 35yrds from the tent and ended about 150+- yrds from my tent, after I hit the buck he went up hill and piled up about 70/80yrds or so from the tent. Couldn't have gotten any luckier than that for me!

No buck for me. Shot this doe when she ruined my one of 2 stalks on the 7th day of my hunt. My first mule deer so maybe next time antlers!
Nebraska 9/02 Open land and water Any thoughts on gross would be great. I have no idea
Awesome bucks! Joe, awesome NE buck! I'm not real good with scores but 160-170ish?
Great deer all around! Congratulations to all the successful hunters!
Joe, hard to tell from that picture on my phone but I would guess mid 170’s gross. Might be better though.
Sounds good to me! Super happy with him. Once I get him back from the taxi, I’ll tape him and see where he is.
Joe....I agree with the others....probably main frame 170"ish with additional junk will push it over 180" gross. Good job guys....lets see some more.
Utah general season buck - September 5th. Solo in the wilderness. Good times. My feet hurt!
Holy height! Congrats Jason!
Great bucks.... I have Mule deer fever right now. Ed F

Nice, Bowhunter! Congratulations on a nice desert buck!
Good job Bowhunter. Congrats!
Bowhunter 2003 where in Az.?Very nice velvet Buc! dirtclod Az.
I just returned from my 3rd mule deer hunt. I decided this year I was taking every stalk opportunity on every adult animal I could. The learning curve is a steep one! I was very happy to score on an adult doe and hopefully next year I will get an opportunity to draw my bow on a racked buck! It was 97 degrees when I shot her.

Heck, the boys from Louisiana are even getting into some great bucks up in the hills! Couple of very nice bucks there!
Looks like the velvet is starting to come off - probably in the last few days to get a fuzzy horned buck.
Congratulations!
Hopefully I’ll get a day to hunt mule deer before the end of the season!
Some great deer hitting the dirt this year!! Had a little luck myself! After spending the summer keeping tabs on these guys I was able to punch my first opening day tag in Montana!
Man no one kill anything small any more?! Congrats everyone!
First time checking this thread. Congrats to all !
I shot this one the day after my son, Bowhunter2003, shot his. Awesome hunt with Wyatt and also with Steven Ward from Ward's Outfitters in Arizona.

Congrats again, bud!
Congrats, that's a dandy. I really like how heavy he is all the way out through the forks.
Went to Graham Brigden's last week. I saw a lot bigger deer but had an absolute riot and couldn't resist after a great stalk.
Alberta. 19 Sept. Stalked in a field.
Here is my buck from the second to last day of the Colorado season. My 12 year old son stalked in right by my side and watched the buck go down, just 76 yards from the shot.
Now that’s a great memory, Henry!
Congratulations to all the successful mule deer hunters this fall! Some great bucks from all over for sure!
Here my deer 25yd shot. Recovery less then 40yd
Does anyone have a report from Wyoming’s region G this year?

Holy smokes! What a buck TMAN! That beast deserves it's own story. Please do tell more.
And my goodness what a bunch of smokers killed this year! Amazing quality really.
Colorado PLO 2nd rifle with my bow.
Just filled my Utah Archery Buck tag.
Nice buck, Longshaft! Looks like you have a great helper there who may be more excited than you about that buck!
Man, I like looking at all those awesome muley's!! Bow hunters are certainly a blessed bunch to be able to do what we do. Thanks for sharing and congrats to all you successful hunters!
11-9-18. Nebraska . It was a good day. Passed a better scoring deer to kill this old beast

Some great bucks in this years thread. Here is one from the other day.
Huntman, great bucks and it looks cold!
Gorgeous deer here guys! Here's my trophy for the year. Do to some health issues, I had to persevere harder for this deer than I've ever done before. This was an extremely satisfying kill and recovery for that reason.
Great job, Skinner Creek and Dale. Dale, hopefully your health issues aren't long term. Good to see you out there doing it despite the challenges.
I almost had a gagger to post on here today. Just not quite in recurve range. Maybe tomorrow......
Congrats to all. Nice buck Hunt.
Along with stories the kill threads the best part of Bowsite. Some great MD deer all around. Have to wonder what backstraps would shoot if he had another tag...
Only have a Kansas whitetail tag. Wish I had a muley tag too . 15 yards and not a clue .
My son Dylan with his Colorado river bottom muley.
Some great bucks on here congrats to the hunters.
Cajunarcher, great deer. Give me a call sometime love to hear how your hunt went this year in CO?
She couldn’t quite get him with her bow so last evening the rifle got pulled out. First non-archery harvest.
Early September buck from Wyoming.
Ron, its about time! Did it take 2.5 months to get your film developed up there in Wyo? ;-)
Some really great bucks this year!
Ha. I've had a really busy fall Lou! Looking forward to your photo on here soon.
Awesome deer!!! I enjoy seeing the doe pics too!
Last day buck in Saskatchewan. After watching Tman kill his I had a hard time keeping my standards realistic!!
