Poor mans plot. My first. Just wondering when this plot will be hottest. Is this a plot that will pick up late season when the crops are all out ?

Looks like rye or winter wheat. The deer should be using it now but I guess it depends on what’s around you. My wheat plots seam to get hit hardest in late December through February.

Yeah I’d say pretty late on wheat and rye plots

one of my leases the agricultural fields are at least a mile away so the main attraction on us is the acorns. we have planted some small wheat plots. the deer have only hit those consistently when the acorns are in short supply or they just want a little 'salad' with their main meal.
