The convention is nearing. Hope many can make it. Sure would be neat to set an attendance record in Omaha again. I was lucky enough to drive a couple of measures from the airport to the paneling gathering. Many of the best scorers were assembled to measure this period's entries. The club let me sit in on the meeting which was cool for me. It was said that there were over 100 animals to be measured and that 5 new world records were likely to be recognized. I find that amazing. Can't wait to see them. Can't wait to see everybody. Bring it on! At this rate there may still be a bit of snow left on the ground at convention time. haha but a warm up is coming

Looking forward to a great convention and getting to see folks.
Will be my first Convention w/o my wife attending with me ( she says she hasn’t lost anything in Omaha) and not sitting with “Keef” at the banquets.

The location is really nice, IMO. We stayed there last week for the Panel. Both hotels (Courtyard and Embassy) connect to the convention center which sits between them. Cabela’s is literally across the street. Should be a very convenient convention and easy in/out.

Looking forward to meeting you gentlemen in person. I'll second what Roy said. I've stayed in both of the motels before as we have family nearby. They're both excellent, lots of free parking for huntinelk! :) I hope to not be turkey hunting in 10 degree weather beforehand but it's not looking good so far.

I have a concern that surprisingly no one has brought up: Two hotels is only gonna confuse the issue for Zack. He has a hard enough time finding his room in ONE hotel. ;).

Emerald Limo has a P&Y rate of $66 bucks round trip from the airport to the hotel. Airport is 20 miles away so that’s a great deal. Owner is Emmit at 402.206.2319 Booked!!!

Charlie, That's a good price. I live in Omaha and Uber to and from the airport frequently. The Uber rate for that will be $30-$40 one way depending on what time of day you fly in.

I'm bringing the Kelly Harris K114 memorial knife to the Bowsite gathering and it would be cool to have a bunch of folks sign the book. Not sure how to do that logistically, since by 3:00 on Friday some of our folks may not be able to write their own names. So maybe sign with an "X"?

Are these transport costs from the airport for single riders? Any chance of sharing rides for less? Seems like there will be a bunch of people all showing up wanting to go to the same place at the same time. Besides I have met some new P&Yers just riding to and from.
