Who's hoping to draw a NV deer tag this year and how many points you in with? I'm in with 2 points ( party of 2 ) and with a little help from Top Rut, i'm looking like flip of the coins type odds. One more week!

Website says results on the 24th. A sheep tag would be nice, but I'd be happy with a mulie tag. 7 points, put in for a late rifle hunt, because I can't squeeze anything more into September and October.
I doubt I draw anything. I haven't drawn a thing this year, and should have drawn WY with my points. Just waiting on Nevada and Montana big 3, and AZ sheep. So nothing with any chance of drawing. . . .

For deer, I'm in for just November hunts, so low odds. I'd be absolutely thrilled with any of my the tags I put in for any species. Results will probably be end of next week if the past is any guide.

I hope in my lifetime Nevada finds a way to issue me a DBHS tag. I’m sitting on 17 points .... same with mule deer. 17 extra Christmas mornings ...... only to wake up and find the Grinch .

16 for deer and antelope because I drew those tags years back.

I have 17 for both Ca and Nelson I drew 231 two years ago for deer so I only have one for deer I have 3 for elk I had to go through a 10 year wait I have 6 for antelope

Nevada has been good to me in the past, I’m hoping it is this year. Got lots of points all over the board except elk. Only got one going into this year but drew Table Mtn in the past with just a couple!

A ton of BP’s points on this thread, good for you guys. I’m 2 years in on the waiting list for elk and can’t help myself by putting in for some of the easier to draw mule deer archery hunts. I think I have 7-8 bp’s for speed goat and sheep, decade behind you guys. 6 days out fellas!

For the last 3 Deer tags I've drawn, I always did the overlap of the Elk units I apply for but this year I did my bow deer choices in the units I apply for on Desert Rams.
I really like the knowledge I gain from hunting a different species in the overlap of the unit.

NV has had results available prior to credit card charges for at least the past 9 years. Last year, with the new vendor Kalkomey, results/emails were up about 2:00 AM the day listed on the NV Kalkomey website which was the Friday before Memorial Day. Every year prior to that, for 8+ years, results were posted after noon on the Friday before Memorial Day.

You know, I'm such an unashamed dreamer and optimist. Even on the long-shots, when I know my odds are stupid low, I still have that hope. So when the results come back negative. . . . . It's still a let-down :)
I'm 0 for 13 this year. Didn't put in for as many as usual.
Still waiting on MT moose/sheep/goat, and AZ sheep.
I'm sure I'll be 0 for 17 by the time it's done

It took 18 years but I drew a unit 231 archery elk tag! Had a big scare because my card company initially flagged the charge but after a few calls everything went through. Can't believe it!

I have some good Intel for units 111---113 from Lages Station on the North, out to the Kern Mnts on the East and Majors Place on the South.
Both sides of the Schell Creek Mnt's/Range.
All 3 Species August into September type experience/knowledge dates.
I'll be over there myself in July for a scouting type trip. Let me know if any of ya need anything specific for me to look into.

Daughter drew her first deer tag which will be her first year hunting big game. I just had multiple surgery's on my right arm so I just did points across the board. As a resident I was looking pretty good for bull elk, and premium deer but I have to say I am happier with her first chance than I would be having a bull tag or primo buck tag. Good Luck All

Buddy drew a desert sheep tag! With a lot fewer points than me! He will be hunting sheep in Colorado and Nevada this year! He’s in for a fabulous season:-)
