Need a sleeping bag and pad for a late September Alaska Arctic hunt. Thanks in advance! John

I really like my Ether Light made by Sea to Summit. I have an Alps Mountaineering with primaloft bag. It's zero degree. Both keep me nice and warm and dry.

I used a Stone Glacier Chilkoot 15 degree bag for my early October Alaska mountain hunt. Loved it.

If not using the link above to keep warm, I prefer the Kifaru Slick Bag 0 degree for Ak. ;)

Do those magical and fun website options come in ultra light mountain versions or heavyweights only? Asking for my friends.

To answer your question Jasper, I love my exped down mat for my pad. A little heavier than some but super warm and comfortable.

Therm-a-rest is what I use. Has a built in hand pump. Warm comfortable. Used it on many hunts in NWT. Very light and compact also.

Therma Rest and a Tech Down bag. Modified down which dries faster. I used them on a Dall Sheep hunt and was very satisfied.
