2 days & a wakeup & our group will be there. I'm guessing someone in the group will make updates on our hunt. I have been there b/4 (one of the original Pork a Palooza) as has 1 other BUT we have 4 never pig hunters.

I will give an update when I get back.. My son & his buddies (mid 40s) are up on modern tech so they may be posting something. I'm the guy that has trouble "texting".. Pressure will be on as these guys are always out to "beat the old guy". They all grew up with my son so I've known most of them since they were 10 years old.. Wonder why they bowhunt????

Well, we just got back LATE last night. Was a fun time for sure with these guys. 6 hunting & 4 scored. Me & another blew our chances BUT still a heck of a great time. My son arrowed one that scaled 224#s & a smaller one & the other 3 that killed were good hogs 165 thru 190#s on the scale. Lots of Hogs seen by everyone. Les is excellent helping & goes above & beyond.. A few pics to recap.

Hunt-I hunted there several times under the old owners & it was always good. NOW, I must say, it's better. I saw more larger hogs (everyone did) than ever b/4. Les, that is their hired hand is awesome in so many ways. Don't wait, you won't be sorry. My sons 1st. 224#s on the scale.

We stayed in the new house instead of the Rustic cabins this time due to there being 6 of us.. It "very" nice & worth the few extra $$..

Yes, it was fun every minute. All the fellas were friends of my Sons & a couple I have known for ever too. The campfire stories were hilarious as these guys work construction together & Nuclear Plant turn downs in winter. Hard working & hard hunting group.

The two that had a great time but no Hog. We had our chance though. My son's 2nd hog he arrowed walking back to camp. 80#er. He wanted a roaster.

Fox-all the stands were good as far as activity went. LOTS of big hogs seen. We had 4 from 165#s thru 224#s on the scale & my son took a 2nd 80#er. Good luck.
