I got up early yesterday morning and drove down to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal near Denver since the phesant hunting has been poor lately and took the camera along. It just west of DIA. If any of you are in the area it worth driving through. Tons of deer both Whitetail and Mulies also buffalo running around. Most the Whitetail have seem to shed their antlers but many of the mule were still sporting their head gear. Attached is a link to their website and handful of pictures in order they were taking.

No idea why the color turns out so goofy on some pictures when posting on bowsite.

When I was a lot younger, being a military brat we could go out there and hunt small game and fish at the lakes. I also drew a deer tag one year. Man those are great memories. Thanks for photos.

Nice pics. Never been there....are those bison enclosed by fence?

The Rocky Mountain Arsenal is enclosed it is about 15,000 acres the Bison room freely I'd guess on about 75% of it. Click on the link in first post and it will take you to their website. It is a neat place especially considering it right on edge of Denver.

It's amazing to see the effects of genetics. I've got a ton of pics I took there between 2006 and 2009 and the bucks look so similar.

Had to laugh about the picture of Hell Jac. I worked and lived there in 1981 -82. I got up one morning and was eating breakfast while listening to the radio. They were talking about a guy down on Colfax that was naked and jumping from roof top to roof top. His last jump before they captured him was off a roof to a telephone pole. All I could picture was all the creosote splinters he had to have buried in some really tender places! LOL
