Bowsite register problem- Help pls

Every time I go to Bowsite.com I'm required to register. I enter the pin number I was issued & I then I can enter or respond to threads. When I log off & try to log back on, I have to go through the same register process. Any idea how I can get around this situation??

Is your browser set to "private"?

I believe it's been like that for a very long time. It would be nice to have the option for your name/password to be remembered. My 2 pennies....

It is a browser setting. You have cookies turned off or set to delete when you exit.

See above, you are either in a private mode setting which forgets your cookies on every session, or you have a software package or browser setting that are deleting your cookies. It is not a problem on our end.

An ID and PW will not make any difference.

Im on a Mac using Safari. Anyone tell me how to fix my settings??

Under setting click "non porn viewing" to on. Or maybe it is "porn viewing" to off

I don't have a MAC but I use safari on my iPhone. If the address bar at the top is dark with white lettering you are in private mode. If it is white with dark letters it is in normal mode that remembers cookies.

I'll stand partially corrected. I'm using Firefox and have it set to private mode which is supposed to delete your passwords and cookies when you log out of Firefox. I have BS as an exception to that rule however it still deletes the BS logons. I created a Bowsite log on within Firefox and it still won't save it. I don't have that problem with other sites I visit....those names/passwords are remembered. It may be something simple in the set-up I'm doing or not doing. I'll have to work on that and try to figure it out.

JL, Firefox saves the ID/PW for other sites and just refills those creds when you visit the site. We simply store your login inside a cookie. That's why Firefox remember your creds but not our cookie. Our way has it's pros and cons. But one very big con is we don't wish to have any access to your Passwords, here's why:

Stored visitor passwords are a target for hackers. Hackers love to breach non-financial sites like this to get access to our visitors PWs since they know that most people re-use passwords on financial, email, and social media sites. Since we don't store your PWs there is no risk to us, or you. It's really that simple. Also, some privacy regs are getting very hard on sites that store passwords and we don't want any part of dealing with regulators.

Mine did that for along time and then it said I was kicked off and then it let me on 1 computer and thats it.
