So this was reported this week. PETA has contacted the mayor and city council of Ham Lake, MN, a town of about 17,000 people on north side of the twin cities. They are urging the city to change the city name to Yam Lake. PETA has offered to pay for all sign changes and to buy yams for all residents of Ham Lake if they change to Yam Lake. And of course they explained all their 'logical' reasons for urging the change. As I've said before, I wasn't made for these times!

I saw an article today that said, get this, "Crash test dummies are mostly male and need more woman. Dummies". It's true...liberalism is definitely a mental disorder.

One of the large pork producers such as Smithfield or JBS should buy a ham for every family there in response.

Wow, PETA would be funny if they weren't serious. Clearly a publicity stunt, but still totally ridiculous.

Someone needs to start a YML movement. Burn and loot a few major cities and all that.

Back in the day they were trying to get towns like Fishkill, NY and didn't realize the name was German I believe and didn't mean what they erroneously thought it did once translated.

PeTA are domestic terrorists and total hypocrites. They euthanize tens of thousands of dogs and cats each year, after they "rescue" them and bring them to their shelters. After a period of time, if they are not adopted, killed en masse. Ingrid Newkirk, the head wacko in charge defends HER right to use insulin, which was tested in animals prior to FDA approval, but will chastise you for using it. It is okay for her to use, because she NEEDS to live to defend the animals. Just another insane idea from them. Like when they wanted Antifa supporters Ben and Jerry's to use breast milk to make their ice cream.

Al Dente you are right on, the other issue is they actively support domestic terrorism. Either directly or financially. The Center for Consumer Freedom had the goods on them years ago as they found the public records, other info demonstrating their support of known radical arsonist.

We had radical arsonists burn down a lake home in my area just because there was a nice article in the paper about his hunting exploits, mounts, etc. HE LOST ALL HIS MOUNTS IN THE FIRE. Good thing no one was injured, especially the members of Fire Dept.

PeTA and its ilk are very, very dangerous people.

PETA members vote for the democratic/socialist ticket. Who joined them?

Back many years ago when my daughter was a senior at Marathon High in the Florida Keys PETA tried pulling this same crap. They wanted the school to change the mascot from the Dolphins to the Sea Kittens. Parents & School resisted and mascot remained

PETA is one of many ECO terrorist groups.

What does Ham have to with anything regarding ethical treatment of animals? It doesn’t necessarily mean the meat. I also know people with the last name of Ham. I love it when they try to do this stupid stuff, because I believe this turns off many people. Same goes for when they don’t want to kill cockroaches or buy lobsters and return them back to the water.

Low reasoning and high hypocrisy are the hallmarks of hunting haters and animal rights terrorists...on a par with marxist minions and socialist sycophants #antipeoplenotproanimal
