My buddy took this footage last Sept 8 of two Colorado Shiras bull moose
Which bull you shooting?

Probably the one on the left. Seems like he might be little better bull, he offered the best shot, and the camera man seem to be paying him more attn so he must have thought that he was the better bull.

I’m sitting here studying the pictures and trying to figure out which one might be just a little tiny bit larger than the other, and… Who am I kidding?
The one on the left offered any number of absolutely perfect shot opportunities, and I would be a complete idiot (in my book) to jeopardize the hunt by getting too fussy.
Success (to me) is getting the shot that I want on a good animal, and then Not Screwing Up. Under Actual Hunting Conditions, I’d have my hands full enough just focusing on the nearest one.

Neither since a tag isn't likely in my future but would be happy with either. One scores better but they are both above my "big enough" line.

I’m hoping to be in that position this fall, in Wyoming. I’d be ecstatic to have an opportunity at a bull of either one of those’s caliber.
