How did shoot the badger. On bait similar to a leopard hunt.

Yes sat on baits every night after dinner till about 2 am then slept till 6 hunted all day and started over shot him last minute the last night!

Congrats! those are a tough animal to hunt with a bow, Wiley and small target in a tree
I was lucky and shot mine just before dark on the first night. We settled in expecting a long night. But he came in at dusk.
But they had cameras on the Impala hanging in the tree and waited until they were comfortable and hitting it regularly before we hunted. I was hunting with Ken Moody

Be careful when taking the crate apart. Looks like there’s enough good plywood there, to almost pay for another hunt! ;-)
