Reports that I have seen are saying it was a crossbow, but the police have not made a comment other than that "there are multiple crime scenes."

In the picture of one of the arrows that this guy shot it is at least 30 inches long. Definitely not a crossbow.

It's time to end bow violence with "common sense" bow control laws. Bows were weapons of war for MANY centuries. At the minimum there should be laws that limit how many bows you can own and also put a limit on the number of arrows one can purchase at one time. Why does someone need more than one bow and 6 arrows for anyway? And for sure we should ban "assault style" bows. You know, the camouflaged ones that hold 6 arrows or more right on the limb! Their only purpose is to KILL!

In such horrible situation people might be shared between showing some empathy because the killing of innocent and the pain of the families who lost a son/daughter, a father/mother, brother/sister are now endless and nowadays every one of us could be in that kind of situation OR making ass hole’s joke on them because those euro dummies after all are not American right ? so who cares? Some years back, a dude ran a truck through a congested crowd, then jumped out with a samurai sword. If I remember correctly, it was in Japan and he killed 19 and injured a couple dozen more. Just shows terrorism can't be contained by gun laws.

At Agincourt most of the French were killed with short knives and pole axes, not the long bow as some claim it was a longbow vs crossbow event. Yes, they were used but did not kill most of the enemy. These were two neighboring countries that fought for many years.
Norway the land of "don't draw any attention to yourself by being exceptional" is a socialist nation struggling with radical fundamentalists and others who have no sanctity for human life. Remember the guy who when to a retreat island and killed all the people there?
Whether its ANFO, airplanes, guns, bows or knives it all gets down to one premise-no respect for the sanctity of human life. Has been around as long as humans have been in existence even with our best efforts to control it. Pray for the families of the lost. Kick the media in the balls for sensationalizing it, and throttle the politicians for using it to further an agenda.
