Ebike and new Honda
Well here we go again. Man o man the years fly by. Dennis has some major upgrades this year. They have a new farmer planting the farm this year with soybeans.
He built a walk in cooler to hang deer, got a new Honda for carting the deer and bought an ebike. Here we go..
Here’s the new cooler which is absolute perfection. Not only is Dennis a gifted Taxidermist but his building skills are evident in this cooler. This will keep the deer at 40 degrees. Look at the roll bar top left for sliding the deer in. Can easily hold 6 to 10 deer.
Interesting Halloween displays around. Hmmm.
First two hunts we saw deer but no shots. Bucks are currently more active than usual but we’re after does. Full moon last night.
Guttin time

Second evening Dennis shot 2 and I got one. Looks like we get to fire up the new cooler.
All three shots were “draino” shots with deer down in sight. This is the goal so we keep tracking to a minimum to keep ground clean..
Dennis volunteers to do the guttin and I’ll hold the legs. Nice Gloves eh?? We checked the stomach contact and they’re eating green right now.
The good ole days are right now.
Awesome Charlie! Can’t wait to head down to PA.

Now the really fun part. Skinnin the deer in the pole barn.
Simple air conditioner with a shut off over ride gets the temp to exactly 40 degrees

Here goes the first one in the cooler. Here’s hoping for many more in the years ahead
An hour later all three were in the cooler.
Arrows cleaned, reloaded broad heads, dinner, a shower and bed. Tomorrow’s another day. Thanks for our blessings.
YES!
What broadhead you guys using for the quick, draino kills?
Let the arrows fly. Looks like a first class skinning shed.
I used two fixed heads for 30 years but the last five years I’ve been messin with different heads. I like to shoot multiple deer with each new head to see how they preform and this was number 3 with Evolution Outdoors, Hyde head, steel in 125 grain. It has a .75”, two blade fixed and a 2”, 2 blade mechanical. Nice combo. So far, so good.
glad to see the new fridge has some volunteers! what's the bag limit on antlerless deer where you guys are?
Good stuff guys... keep it rollin'.
Buckeye: Google “PA Game Commission, DMAP” for information on limits. Varied by program.
I'm using g5 striker fixed blade. Good solid head.
You guys have fun! How does he skin them so clean?! I can't keep half the hair off there when I do it. . . .
Ebike is a game changer. I got one this year and am loving it!
Nice work fellas!
"The good ole days are right now".
Amen, Charlie !
Makes my mouth water, just seeing those deer hanging. Nicely done.
“How does he skin them so clean ?” Hell Bake, he’s Dennis Razza ! He could take those doe skins and come up with a Sasquatch mount ! ;-)
Didn’t take long to start stackin em up! Good stuff, so far.
Any glitches with the rail/winch/cooler system so far? Anything you’d do a little different?
Great hunting and great processing facility/refrigeration. Congrats
Great doe management and meat for the freezer………..congratulations!
I feel like T-Roy’s building a supply list and wants to know where Dennis would make a change or two before he builds his over there in Iowa hahaha
T-Roy: Workin to perfection. We’re adding two more to cooler right now. Another good evening hunt.
Outstanding.... fun stuff. Ed F
Great job guys! Love following along!
Already putting the new cooler to good use....not surprised!!!
Have fun guys! Some nice looking venison filling up that fancy new cooler.
Another late night but we’ve got 5 in the cooler and we’re back in stand. Happy Friday morning all.
Lots of rain here last night so bucks are freshening scrapes and on the move.
Way to go guys, keep sending it!
I think yer gonna need a bigger shed.
Well done boys! Keep it up!
Was thinking what Chief419 said…. Looks like a blast!
Looks like you guys are having a blast!
Looks like the cooler and rail system are working perfectly! Top of the line setup! Somebody needs to come up with an auto-skinner to make the process even more seamless.
Great thread thanks for letting us tag along good luck Lewis
Dang that looks like fun. Keep it coming guys!
Yep, got another one and Dennis just texted that he shot one too! Woohoo…
You guys are shooting some nice doe Charlie. Those DMAP zone hunts are fun!
Great shooting! Looks like a lot of fun.
Well that’s a wrap. What a great time. Thank you Dennis..
Stone cold killers ! Good job on the doe management guys !
Those guys are lady killers!
Way too much fun!!
Thanks for sharing,
Robb
What a way to start off the whitetail season. Looking forward to doe slam 2022!
Great job, boys! What a great way to warm up for the big show!
For those of you who dont want hair on your carcass, hang gead down and roll the hide down, then take a blow torch and burn off any residual hair.
Wow! You boys put a hurtin’ on those Western Pa. slick heads!
Fun day cutting today.
Troy, Found a suggestion for you. I’d put a split in the rail system so you can push deer off to the side. The way I have my setup is the first deer in the cooler is the last one cut. This isn’t a big deal unless you shoot lots of deer a week or so apart.
Good idea, Dennis! Does the length on your cord for your winch work good for your setup? I had basically the same winch, and I didn’t like how short the cord was, so I bought a longer length of it and had my electrician buddy rewire it for me. Made it a lot nicer to be able still run the winch and not have to be right next to the carcass, especially if I was hanging or skinning one by myself.
That is AWESOME guys!!! And that cooler setup is just way too sweet. Gives a man ideas!!!!
Back strap.

Thanks Charlie, now I'm hungry! Great job guys, fun to follow along!
Man you guys did great! Lot's of good meat right there. Thanks for posting!
