210 3/8 Ohio Whitetail

Some of you will remember we watched this guy all summer and hunted him all last fall on our small farm in northeast Ohio. I had him in early October right at dusk at 42 yds but the shot was iffy and I passed. Son saw him twice more but never had a clean archery shot. We never got him with our bows but my son took him in our 1 week gun season in December. Biggest buck in the 18 years we’ve owned and managed the land. Well, he just got the mount back and I thought I’d share it with you all. 210 3/8 Gross green by an official measurer. We’re not interested in net although he easily makes B&C. Turned out pretty nice! Several pics to follow. BTW, T-ROY has an autographed photo on the way for guessing closest to the score last fall LOL.

I grew up in Northern Ohio back in the 50s and it was rare to see a deer. Not any more. Nice buck! x 10.

I remember this story! This buck HAS IT ALL, in my opinion! MASS, SPREAD, TINE LENGTH and Oh those BROW TINES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! : )

Thanks everyone! I remember when I saw him for the first time live…oh my! Wish it had been archery….but no matter and just thankful my son got him! Someone asked acreage and our place is just over 100 rugged acres of ravines and creek bottom but placed perfectly between two farms of 350 and 450 acres that don’t allow hunting. It’s a nice setup for being so small.
