When I shared the story - and the reason behind my urgency on getting my buck this year many asked for updates when the real thing happens.
Lo and behold Owen Timothy Pauls arrived on the 16th at 1:23 pm. He came into this world at 6lbs 15oz and 20.5” long. We’ve been gone for a couple nights now. Mom and child are healthy. He seems like a champ! Whether he turns into a hunter or not I’m a blessed father.

Congrats Adam!! The only feeling better than harvesting a trophy was when my kids were born! And now my 4 year old daughter is obsessed with finding deer and moving cams and hanging stands!

I know the feeling & glad all is well. A blessing for sure... It only gets better even with a few, more than likley, sleepless nights & worries. I now, am blessed to share my love of Bowhunting with my son & G-kids my children have given us.. Like I said, it only gets better.. Congratulations....

Congrats! I loved teaching my two boys to hunt, they take their own paths, one jumped in and one took to it more slowly, but in the end both love it. The best part, now i have grandkids to look forward to taking hunting! :)

Thanks guys. Watching my daughter grow who is now nearly 8 has really instilled that whole "don't blink" attitude. And yet....it still goes so quick. Thanks for the positive comments. He's a cool dude.
