550 # tensile strength so sure it will work. Of course Russian elk are much heavier so azelk can't use it.

Ive used the cheap stuff from Home Cheapo. It works as long as you aren’t draping it over a branch and then pulling on it….the added friction snaps it pretty easy.
I mostly use the higher rated stuff.

I’ve used 550 paracord for as long as I can remember so that’s what I’d recommend. I’ve used it for hanging quarters and bags, and I always carry a 100’ roll in my pack to tie off legs for skinning/butchering my elk and to help secure meat to my packframe.

95 is rated at 95#. I would double it to be safe but then might as well use 550.

Check out Lawson Equipment 2mm Ironwire will hold something like 900lbs the regular 2mm will handle about 250lbs

Looks like the site I looked at had the wrong data for 95 paracord. As others have said it's 95 pounds.
