Got an email from Nevada DOW that the draw is starting and you can watch it live on their YouTube channel. Saying results will be emailed in the coming days. This is my last hope for this year, if you call 1-2% odds hope

Even though they have yet to draw my name, Nevada does a great job with their draw. Always a quick turnaround. The director said weeks if not months ago the results would be out at 6pm Friday May 20th. They are transparent with everything and they don’t hold $5-10,000 of yours for MONTHS.

Nothing for me….now I have 21 points for elk that will give me a whopping 1% chance in the next draw.

I drew a resident antelope tag with 6 points a deer tag near Reno with 9 points and a spike bull elk tag with zero points. I’ll probably turn the deer tag in since it’s a December tag and I forgot we’re headed south for the winter to become snowbirds….
Came up empty on archery bull elk near Ely with 10 points and I even blanked an archery cow elk tag with 8 points. There are no odds listed for resident archery cow elk with 8 points since only one person applied last year with 7 points and a few applied with 6 points. Most guys are drawing with four points or less so that one was a surprise. No CABHS, RMBHS or Mt Goat with 25+ points so maybe next year I’ll get one of those….
