Tavis did you hear some inside info that they'll post early? Brochure shows 5/31 thru 6/3 and they've been very rigid about sticking to the schedule the past few years.

Hopefully it will be happening next week. Yeah, they do say the 31st thru the 3rd. Last year it was the 22-26th that they started sending emails so keeping fingers crossed!
But, knowing CPw, it will be the middle of June… hard to believe they drag it out so long!

Thank Tavis I think it took me 21 years to draw my moose tag this year. Can’t believe they are finally drawing my name this year!

Yep the '21 brochure stated 5/24 through 5/28 and they stuck with it. I'm betting they wait til the 31st post. They seem to stay with the published schedule, even if they finish the draw well ahead of time. No doubt it helps keep their phone lines quieter, just like elimination of all back-doors did a few years back.

Last year moose popped on Tuesday May 25. That would make this year will be Tuesday May 24.

Heck, I applied in Idaho almost a month later than Colorado and just got my rejection from them. Colorado definitely needs to streamline their process.

If I've said it once, I've said it 1000 times: California, of all places, with all its apps (lots of apps due to lots of people) and all its inefficiency and bureaucracy, even with multiple species, gets their draw results out in about a week-and-a-half from the deadline.
If they can do it, anyone can do it.

For several years, there's been no wiggle room in the results posting dates. They give us our results on the dates listed on the back of the big game brochure. So we can be pretty confident that the results will be posted next week and not earlier.

I'm over being excited to see if the State gives me a tag to hunt my game. If I get it, great. I think we aren't helping ourselves by putting so much value on tags.

Huge relief! Took them until 9:48 pm CST but COPW finally hit my CC card for elk tag. Just cashed in the first big game point I ever bought, way back in 1996. Will be headed for unit 61 archery.
