I drew unit 28 Colorado moose!

Well I am a very lucky man and drew a Colorado Cow moose tag for unit 28 just north of Silverthorne. Archery tag September 10-30th
Any advice on where to start the scouting process as in habitat and elevation?

I have seen some gagger moose in that unit. Not hard to find when you are elk hunting.

Elk hunted across the HWY to the west in Unit 371 in 2020. Saw more moose than elk. Good Luck!

Elk hunt that unit every year. Some nice bulls in the unit yearly. Watch for the bull moose between the pay station and the Meadow Creek Reservoir. Cows show up everywhere.
