I was in the trucking industry for 22 years and this law Newsome is pushing for will not only effect truckers but everyone that purchases goods from retailers. These leftist only hurt the working class. Lot of food products come from California..you can figure out the outcome. How do these tyrants get elected.
These same feel good, Do-gooders tell us to go all electric. Decouple from fossil fuels. Newsome and his ilk want us to go “green” and buy electric vehicles.
These pesky facts get in the way. EV batteries use rare minerals that come from the ground. These same radicals won’t allow mining or approve a new mine in the U.S for any purpose. So where are all the minerals going to come from. And how will those minerals be mined. With battery powered mining equipment?? :>))).
Of course we will get all of those minerals from China and other enemies of the U.S.
So after we have crippled our economy, destroyed our fossil fuel infrastructure. Torn down fossil fuel power plants.
China will have complete dominance over our energy and transportation.
This holds true on every policy they want to enact. Essentially sawing off the gangplank behind us.
But hey at least it makes them feel good.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed an executive order Wednesday that aims to end the sale of new gasoline- and diesel-powered passenger cars in the state by 2035.
Newsom said in a statement that adoption of zero-emissions vehicles would reduce greenhouse gas pollution that contributes to climate change.

Newsome wrecked SF as mayor- ask the working class folks that had to step over his free heroin needles on the sidewalk. He is the original ‘Let criminals walk” and pumped the whole sanctuary city thing.
His energy policy is to shut down nat gas power plants and pay up to 400% for power from Nv and AZ. We have rolling brownouts and our grid cannot handle the influx of EVs.
Just ask the many businesses he drove away: Tesla, Schwab, Chevron, Honywell, and many more amounting to hundreds of thousands of jobs. I could go on and on….
Hopefully the folks that instinctively check the Democrat box everytime will be smarter about this disaster.
