Just got home and on my door step was my buffalo hide from last February that I sent to Moyle Mink in Idaho did a fantastic job blanket soft the 10 yr old bull had a couple rubbed spots on his ass due to some warm weather that we had experienced but overall super satisfied
Looks great and congrats on the bull. They've done 2 for us they turned out great as well.
Thank you it’s was a huge job fleshing and salting it but we’ll worth it

I am grateful my shop handles very few Buffalo any more. Fleshing and thinning that hide will make a man out of you and then break you.:):):)
Yes Z bone , blanket soft squares about 8x8 and it came in a box the size of a small pet bed 22 lbs shipped home almost 70 when it left they thin it and do a good job
Spots on the head and shoulders during fleshing were 1/2” thick maybe more now it’s all about 1/8” or less
Looks great! Congratulations! Cool critter for sure!
Way cool, thanks for sharing Murph, and congratulations!
Everytime my nephew comes over with his young children, they spread out my bison hide, and roll-up in it like a burrito.....LOL
Turned out very nice.
Good luck, Robb
I got mine back from them a few months ago, amazing how light they are after thinning them down.
We planned on getting our hides tanned from the get go so we skinned carefully and fleshing wasn't so bad. They are big and heavy though. They come back nice and soft from Moyle.
Same here I have put up my Own fur bearers for years and know the importance of skinning fleshing and no holes
That looks great!
