Wow. That's crazy. Was watching an old rockie Jacobson video last night with the boys and he calls a bull elk into mere feet of him and I thought "man, that thing could swing his head at any moment if he got nervous and that dude is in trouble" Too close! Can't imagine with a moose. Hope the guy is ok.

I've had encounters with cow moose while I was elk hunting. More afraid of them than the bulls as they take greater exception to one in close proximity of their offspring.
