The wife and I like stream and binge watching TV series. We watched, Yellowstone, Dexter, Ozark, Breaking Bad just finished Pinky Blinders. Probably forget a couple. We have Comcast, Amazon, and Netflix. What might be some others worth watching?
The Last Kingdom is my current favorite. Blacklist and Longmire are two of the wife's favorites that we've watched.
Try Madoff on Netflix. 4 quick episodes to binge watch. What a international crook he was.
Trekkie here, so 'Picard'. I'm partial to the Tom Selleck's 'Jesse Stone' series of made-for-tv films. Start with 'Night Passage'.
Alone and Designated Survivor both held my interest for awhile. Better Call Saul is related to Breaking Bad, might be appealing.
All of the Vikings series. Plus, you get Katherine Winnick in the first one! You would also like Longmire.
"Godless" was a good one.
If you haven’t seen Longmire it’d be worth it over the cold months to do so.
I knew I would forgot some we watch. Watched Longmire and Better call Saul right after Breaking bad. Thanks for ideas so far and keep them coming.
I just read about the new show on the Learning Channel called ‘Milf Manor’ - sounds like it may be worth a look.
Jack Ryan on Prime. Andor & Obi-Wan on Disney. What did you think of Peaky Blinders?
I’ll second Godless and add He’ll on Wheels.
Yeah… Longmire is a good one.
Yeah Vikings, one of my all time favorites...
Good one second season is about to start is "Your Honor"....
I typically spend all my time manscaping instead of watching TV - grin
Longmire, jack ryan, terminal list, jack reacher, the recruit, Game of thrones- all good
Watched Terminal List, three Jack Ryan and currently liking 1923.
Pat only if they are firm feeling and no pot bellies
Vikings, Vikings: Valhalla, Longmire, Turn, The Last Kingdom, Poldark.
Longmire and The Last Kingdom.
Terminal list is awesome.
The boys on prime.
My son has been trying to get me to start The Boys on Prime, he said it's a riot.
I'm still trying to finish Breaking Bad. I can never seem to binge watch anything. I always end up reading instead if I have free time.
Queen of the South on Netflix. Thank me later.
Terminal List was good. And I agree with Brad on Justified. It’s older now but was real good too.
They are coming out with another Justified this fall.
Our very first binge-watch … Sons of Anarchy.
A lot of good shows mentioned already. A few more to add. On Netflix. Narcos, Narcos Mexico. Mandalorian and Boba Fett on Disney +.
Breaking Bad, Vikings, Vikings Valhalla, Better Call Saul, Mandalorian, Boba Fett, Obi-Wan, Andor, Justified, Man In the High Castle, Terminal List, Sons of Anarchy, a spin off movie of Breaking Bad called El Camino, The Last Kingdom, The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Fead, 24, so many I have forgotten as well. Lol
Bowbender we liked Pinky Blinders. It is worth watching. Season gets a little same plot different characters/adversaries but overall worth watching.
Ray Donovan was one I liked.
Just finished “The recruit” tonight on Netflix. I thought it was pretty good and I don’t typically watch many series shows etc. 8 episodes.
I liked the Peaky Blinders as well. Also The Handmaids Tale on Hulu.
Ted Lasso
Better Call Saul
Alone
Some good ones already listed… I’ll add Ozarks and Mad Men.
Yeah Glunt, forgot about Ray Donovan, Ray was the man...8^)
Last 2 episodes of Breaking Bad are running right now on AMC...
If you're watching with the Mrs., Outlander is pretty decent. Lots of violence and strong sexual content but will make you want to visit Scotland.
My oldest has been trying for years to get me to watch “The Wire.” Doesn’t appeal to me, but maybe you would like it.
John,
I liked Peaky Blinders a lot. Was a bit disappointed in the series finale. Thought Tommy would finally get “every ****ing thing!”
Might be a weird one for this group, but I really enjoyed binge watching American Horror Story.
Band of brothers, Tour of duty, The Unit, Makita, Badlands, Outer Banks, Stranger Things.
Better Call Saul, Homeland are good.
Outlander (it's Braveheart-like, don't watch with the kids...), Last Kingdom was good. Frontier with Jason Mamoa.
Animal Kingdom, Ted Lasso, Game of Thrones
I just watched All Quiet on the Western Front...from. the German soldier perspective....sad movie well done.....
I guess we will go with milf manor from the list above. ;)
The Chosen. No kidding. Exceptional mini series.
1883, 1923, and if you like documentaries, I recommend “Dear Rodeo” on Amazon. Also… “You” is another good series.
Pat, can you give us a rundown on Milf Manor? ;)
Another, better call Saul fan here.
If you liked him and that, watch him in the movie, “Nobody”
WTH? No votes for Karate Kid on Netflix? SMH.
"El Camino" wraps up what happens after Breaking Bad.
"...for Karate Kid on Netflix? SMH."
I forgot, Cobra Kai.
Punisher was pretty good. Black sails is an old one, great until the end.
More Steamy than streaming , Mormongirlzzz on uporn.....!!
Whew,
Robb
I trashed both of our TVs and now only listen to the Gospel on the radio. The end of the World is coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
For a quick wacky watch “don’t pick up the phone” on Netflix
You will be left dumbfounded……guaranteed
For what it's worth, the only shows I've ever got hooked on enough to "binge watch" were Hell on Wheels, Lilyhammer, and Trailer Park Boys.
I think HBO has made some of the best TV series ever made. If you haven’t seen them, Band of Brothers and Deadwood were both amazing.
My wife watches those later at night True Crime murder shows.
I'm a little concerned.....caught her taking down notes as she watched.
Tmac has a good one don’t pick up the phone. Amazing and true.
bluedog don't worry they all do The ones who take notes are usually vwry efficient and successful so it won't hurt long if at all. ;)
We started 'Homeland' last night. Several of the ideas above look good and few look awful. ;)
Vikings… we just started and are 4 episodes in. Love it! My wife now has a crush on Ragnar.
Alone. Homeland.
Almost all TV series turn into soaps and suck after 2 seasons. Exception might be Breaking Bad and Homeland (which real life geopolitics are like a soap).
More votes for Bosch and The Kingdom
