Diorama Mount- anyone got them?

Just saw this one, pretty neat, not sure I’d do a slammer buck like this but the taxidermy looks great.
Nice buck, but I’d not mount it like that.
Makes me want to shoot the yotes instead of the buck.
A lot going on there for sure
The actual reality of some Midwest states put into perspective.
That had to have been a ton of work for the taxidermist for sure.
That’s neat coyotes get a bunch of em at home.
Some Taxidermist trivia.
Dennis “Air” Harris is credited by world judges with being the first to design the now widely used “Air” technique.
Many local taxidermists tell their clients that it’s their unique twist and talent.
I was just looking at the wolf and moose piece a few days ago. Must have been on you-tube and I took a tour through a taxidermy competition. It is hard to believe what those artists can do! Rgiesey says it best, "Wow"!
There is a lot of articles posted on the Web on Dennis Harris in his prime. And how he revolutionized the look.
He suffered a heart attack then subsequent strokes while on a Marco Polo hunt. Then recurring heart attacks. And then he and his team struggled to finish all the work in his shop. That damaged his reputation as he disappeared for months at a time.
He is no longer taking new work. But has done some amazing work for my wife and I in the past.

Best I've seen is an artwork by Cai Guo-Qiang called "Head On", also known as 99 wolves. Yup, 99 wolves in action. Link has a good write up and photos. There is also a "painting" of this work he created using gunpowder.
Those guys are true artists!
I saw the wolf and moose piece at the world show . Pictures don't do it justice. At the back there is a wolf that had fallen off and is trying to get back on the base. Of coarse every piece is removable including the Moose. Dennis had some great forethought invested in that mount but he did many other mounts utilizing his teams skills and ingenuity, bringing the ultimate in realism and movement to his clients mounts. Frank Newmyer did much the same with bird taxidermy.
The 99 wolves are amazing. But not taxidermy. They are fake animals. Still a huge feat to pull off though.
Great looking deer coyote mount, but I thought coyotes only killed fawns and sick deer ? LOL
That's kind of ironic that those fake wolves are made out of sheepskin!

Where did you find that info?...
i have always enjoyed my perspective to this art installation. These wolves are relentless. Be the invisible wall. :)
Personally, I'm not a fan of the mount in the OP. In a museum, maybe, but not a trophy room. To me, a mount in a trophy room is a tribute to the animal and a way for a hunter to preserve the memory of the hunt and the animal. A majestic buck being taken down by a pack of mangy coyotes is not how I'd want to remember that animal. JMO.

Maybe it was a dead-head from a coyote kill and that’s what happened?
But I’m with you - this seems like something that you would do if you had enough heads on the wall to have become tired of the same old thing… LOL
Not a problem I will ever have!
And to be honest, I can’t imagine there are too many people who’d have room for it, but then there are houses in this town literally 20X the size of mine. OK by me - great school system and they keep my taxes really low….
If you look at the Zebra mount the only contact the lion has with the Zebra is a small contact from the lions tail to leg. And one rear zebra leg.

What about an action scene of the Lions of Tsavo that are on display at the Field Museum in Chicago ...8^)
