Due to guys not drawing Tags i have some openings for Archery guided 33 hunts.

I think they also cut tags in that whole region this year correct?

Only late season cow tags in 33. The units north of us had tags cut but no Archery tags cut in any unit that im aware of.

I have yet to guide a bowhunter in unit 33 and them not shoot a arrow. I cant and will never guarantee 100% but im close.

Looks like 70% drew with 2 points. Last year it was 100%

CPW has painted a picture of the NW GMU's winter kill rate as worst they seen in decades. What does boots on the ground say in June? Is it as bad as they advertised?

Last year 3 for 3 drop camp.

We found 1 dead elk wile turkey hunting. Elk are still low. They will calf and then move up. Alot of us that have lived in this area view this as a normal winter. The units we hunt in are south of the units they had bad winter kill in. I also think our elk can find lower elevation river valleys to winter in than up north.

It is amazing country up there. I will be hunting with Forest next year(i hope) with 3 points as well. You will not be disappointed.
