Anyone know the story behind this? From to looks of the couple hugging behind the car, it was a close call for the passenger!

Well…sorry. I’m challenged when it comes to my iPhone. Anyways it was 3 pictures of a red Scion that hit a Bighorn Sheep and completely ripped its head off. The horns caught the windshield and it looked as though the Ram was riding in the passenger seat and hanging his head out of the window. Except the window was up and it’s body was on the side of the road.

It was just south of me in the town of Morenci……bighorn ram came off the hill and landed right on (through) the car in the highway. Decapitated the ram.

Heck, it is amazing how many rams are out here on the mine site. Have what is really amazing is that these are Rocky Mountain sheep living down in the low country desert. I had heard a long time ago that these sheep were brought into the Gila in New Mexico and they disappeared. New Mexico thought they had been killed by predators. Arizona ended up with most of the sheep living around the Morenci mine. Crazy stuff.
