Took my daughter out for her first with a bow this past weekend. She hunted hard last year during bow season with no luck. First sit of the season this year and she connects!
I was able to capture the hunt on film and got great footage.....
Great hunt, good memories, and a newly minted bowhunter!
Nice shot Justice, and great video Dad!
Great shot Justice and nice video! Congratulations to you both.

Great stuff and congrats everyone!
Keep them coming and stay safe!
Well, he’s still out there but the hunt was a success… 7 year old KY deer… everything worked out perfectly except one thing, as I recorded him after 10 mins I thought he will drop 3-6 inches from the 16 yards where my blind was, finally he offered the shot and I aimed right at bottom of body (planning he’d drop) and he didn’t and my arrow gave him a clean shave, lol… good news is that TT recurve is so quite everything bolted and came right back in but him, he causally walked off… I’ll let things settle for a couple days and move in again. It was a success for hunt in all regards … perhaps the Lord will allow me another opportunity? This is a clip pic of of the video before camera died.
Dang RK! You have a good one there and it appears by the body he’s 4.5 years old?
Happy as heck for my nephew, but not sure he gets to sit my good stands for the rest of the year. :)
Mainframe 5x5 with 15 scoreable points. Not bad for a first with the bow.
Baptist. Yes a really good one. Free range and yes looks like 4.5. Seems like I usually guess wrong by a year with our deer so maybe 5.5. B with this camera angle 4.5
RK, WOW!! Some of those tines look to be at least 14". Get him on the ground and post a bunch of pictures. Then let us know what he grosses;)
1st night out 7 yard shot had 14 milling around eating acorns
Better take a sip of good whiskey on that one Rob, just to steady your nerves !
Those are some very nice bucks congratulations to each of you.
RK that buck makes me miss TX more and more. Our D'Hannis lease was a special place. I'm probably way off, but I'd be inclined to put him at 4.5 too - that straight back line has me wondering. I'd be very curious what his jaw/teeth tell us.
Don yea one before and one after :)
Rick I'm truly thinking the same thing.
