Some of my tags showed up In the mail today and there’s a few more to buy if I get some draws.
If things go poorly I can make enough tag soup for a big group.

What age bracket of Cougar are you looking to put that tag on?

No goat unless I draw an area suitable for old mountain hunters, same for sheep. May buy caribou if I'm going to be someplace where they roam. Bison is a maybe too.
John, I'll be seventy one in a couple months, so I'd have to cruise the old folk's home for that kind of cougar.

I was really hoping my new bow would be here in time to bloody a bear or two in early May. But not looking good :(
There are rumours and murmurings about a grizzly draw again, but too late now for this spring season.

My strategy is to buy a lot of tags then wander around hoping something legal bumps into me. Just boosting my chances in the Blind Squirrel approach.

Me. I simply go to Alaska. At 74, done with the west, except for antelope. I feel for my grandsons. From Bowhunter TV, to Bone Collector shows, I see the end of hunting for the common guy, and as that happens so will their business intrest, dry up.
