Headed to Alberta Friday and last year in Manitoba the ticks were horrible. Anyone have tips for keeping ticks away?

Sawyers- soak your clothes good with it and let it air dry. works fantastic.

Here is what I have done for the past probably 25 years.8 oz to a gallon of water in a small sprayer.Lay out the clothes to be treated, permeate the clothes, hang up and let dry.You are good to go for the year still good after several washing. This is the same formula Sawyers used many years ago I believe they quit as there was a lot more money selling it in the cans.If I find their old formula and sales paper I’ll post it.Good luck Lewis

Spray my stuff very thoroughly with permithrin (Sawyers). Works GREAT here in the VERY tick infested north east. I spray my muck boots, but lately have been enjoying wearing hiking boots (sprayed) with gaiters (sprayed). It's much cooler and comfortable while scouting and warm weather hunting, and with the spray on the gaiters/boots, and clothes, I just dont get ticks on me (I literally dont remember the last one crawling on me while wearing stuff sprayed down).

I find the Sawyer's in wallyworld sporting goods for $10 on sale every fall. Stock up for the next spring. They get worse every year here in western lower MI.

I was only able to find the aerosol, and they wanted you to use 1/2 a can per piece of clothing. That seemed like a lot to me. I still saturated the clothes pretty good.
I may see if I can find the spray tomorrow and give everything one more dose.
