I had the chicken today for lunch. Very clean. Very good. Alitte bland but might just be all the chicken meat in it. So much better that mountain house.

They look good. I’m always looking for alternatives as well. I’ve done some dehydrating of my own meals and they are good because you can basically make whatever you normally eat. Just takes a little more water and time to rehydrate and they don’t have as long as a shelf life.

Yes, I saw they are freeze dried. I prefer freeze dried over dehydrated so that’s already a huge bonus for me to give them a try as well. I have two giant freeze dryers in my old taxidermy shop I may give them a try for food instead of antlers and pets. Lol

Peak Refuels have 3-500 more calories and significantly more food (dry weight) in most meals than these from what I’m seeing. Plus there’s some holiday sales going now and you can get most Peak flavors cheaper than these. Not sure I see the intrigue at $12 for a single serving.

Look at the ingredients.

They also say their single serve meals are the same amount as most 2 serving meals. Same amount for less money.

They look like quality meals. Must go pretty heavy on the meat compared to most. Certainly look much better than MH, but that’s not hard to do. At the end of the day though you’re getting 4oz of dry food in all these while you get 5-8oz of food in a Peak meal. It’s not the “same amount for less money” as bb suggests. You’re paying more for less food and calories vs Peaks. If these taste great and you guys can do your thing on 500cal meals then they look like a solid option. I’ll stick to the 800-1000cal meals for the same money though.

4patriots is pretty good as well but you have to buy there stuff is kits or bulk cans and then mix together. Thrive are good too.

Cost might be related to the gluten-free, diabetic-friendly, keto-friendly labeling. That's pretty rare to find in a standard freeze dried meal.

i'm no expert and only looked for a few minutes but my quick search shows one of the investors that is UAE , NOT Saudi. Quick search seems show it is done in america and i believe founded by american citizens from what i can see . not sure where the Saudi info is coming from
glad to hear we have another great option

As EJG said, started, owned and made by some folks in Utah. Their parent company is backed by firms in Chicago and UAE. Don’t believe everything you read on Bowsite. :)
