At around 10:00 am I heard a buck grunt. Sometime afterwards an 8 point buck exited the thicket with a 4 point and doe following. Over a two hour period I saw 8 different bucks with only one doe in the area. Several bucks were grunting in the area at the time. At approximately 12:00 pm I heard a deep grunt approaching me when this 9 point exited the thicket onto my logging road along with a 4 or 5 point. When the buck saw my decoy he postured up and approached same. I let the arrow fly when he was broadside at 20 yards. He scored 136 2/8 Pope & Young Typical points.
