Mathews Inc.

Doe and skipper came in and the doe immediately bagged me but she didn't spook. After a while she settled down and I drew my bow when she was at 15 yards. She or the skipper saw me draw and she ran out to 26 yards broadside. I put my 30 yard pin on her and released. The shot looked good but when I found the arrow (a passthru) it had signs of a gut hit on it. I let her sit overnight and spent 7 hours tracking/searching for her. The blood trail was good for the first 200 yards and then it stopped. She went another 100 yards from the last blood. A deer autopsy revealed an entrance hit to the back of one lung, center-punch of the liver, and a gut exit. She went a long way for no prossure and a liver hit but I'm happy to have recovered her.
