I called this spike in on the opening morning of the season. When he stopped in an opening at 30 yards, I eased to full draw, settled my pin, and let it fly. He only went 25 yards after the shot before tipping over. He never really knew what happened and my cow calls right after the shot kept him close. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to harvest this animal.
