I was hunting a small bedding area near a ridgeline. I was in the thick stuff, on the ground, watching a deer trail with a bunch of fresh rubs. After several encounters with traveling does, my buck came along the edge of the cover I was in. He offered a nice broadside shot I was able to make. Long season, lots of encounters, this guy is the only one that cooperated enough to get a good shot.
