I was sitting in the stand watching 4 does (public land). I heard a grunt coming from a swamp bottom. I hit my bleat call then the woods came alive. I had a small buck come in grunting every breath then I heard come more grunting coming from the swamp bottom. The small buck was calling the buck from the bottom for me. I forgot about the does I stood up and the does started blowing and running everywhere. The buck topped the hill and looked right at me, but it was too late I had already had my bow drawn. 35 yards heart and both lungs.
