Buddy took me to a new spot.Seen all kinds of deer.This buck stepped out and I aimed broadside.At the shot he jumped 3 times and I couldnt see him .After a hour I got down and he was dead right there.The arrow hit as if a frontal shot.The broadhead deflected on the ribs and was found just under the skin right at the shot hole.The arrow was broken. I think when the arrow deflected and the arrow broke the head turned along the ribs and the rest of the broken shaft went straight in the shothole and poked something important.3 jumps and he was done.He was my first (big ) buck and he just missed P/Y by a couple points.
