Summit Treestands

Finally got to get out, it's been a couple of weeks. Took my climber to a new tree in a small piece of private land, that I have been hunting for a couple of years. I was setup by 6:15 am, saw my first deer at 6:55, then another, and then a nice fat doe, she came right to the tree smelling my earth cover scent. I took a shot strait down thru her spine and got her heart and lungs.she didn't go anywhere. Stayed in the tree for 45 more minutes, passed on one button buck. then another nice doe comes in smelling the earth scent too, but get's a little nervous , and starts to leave. I bleated at her in the first opening, had a nice quarting away shot at 28 yards and i took it. she only went about 20 yards and piled up! I had both deer gutted and was on my way home by 8:30. saw 5 deer total, a great day to be out!
